Class of 1949 to be honored at commencement

Members of the Class of 1949 have been invited to participate in this year’s commencement to honor the 50th anniversary of their graduation.

Returning members will assemble in cape and gown, proceed with the Class of 1999, and be presented with special 50th year commemorative diplomas. Members of Rose-Hulman’s Fifty Plus Club (alumni who have graduated 50 or more years) are also invited to proceed with this year’s graduates.

The returning 1949 graduates and Fifty Plus members will also be the guests of honor at a breakfast and luncheon hosted by the Rose-Hulman alumni office.

During Homecoming 1999, the Class of 1949 will formally celebrate its 50th Reunion, be presented with a special gift from their alma mater and be inducted into the distinguished Fifty Plus Club.
