112 years of teaching experience to retire

Bob Steinhauser and John Derry accepted instructors’ positions at their alma mater in 1957. They had such a good time, they never left. In 1968, Noel Moore was attracted to Rose Polytechnic Institute’s emphasis on undergraduate education and student service. He saw no reason to leave, either. These three dedicated educators are retiring in May, ending 112 years of collective service to Rose-Hulman, its students and its alumni. As a tribute to their contributions, Echoes examines each of these award-winning teachers, mentors and friends.
