Valentine leads record-breaking swim team

The Rose-Hulman men’s swimming and diving team broke 10 school records in the team’s final meet, finishing fifth at the prestigious Liberal Arts Invitational. Sophomore Sean Valentine led the charge by breaking three individual records, swimming on two record-setting relay teams, becoming the first Rose-Hulman swimmer ever to win an event at the Liberal Arts Invitational (50-yard freestyle), and provisionally qualifying for the NCAA III Championship (50-yard freestyle, 21.36). Valentine was named the team’s Most Valuable Swimmer.
