Annual alumni meeting minutes

The annual meeting of the Rose-Hulman Alumni Association took place Oct. 5, 1996, in the Hulman Memorial Union. Secretary-Treasurer Robert Steinhauser (’54) presented the names of the 1996 honorary degree recipients: Willard Holland (’66), John Myers, Niles L. Noblitt (’73), Richard H. Raab (’43), William R. Small (’57) and Randall L. Tobias. Myers and Tobias were elected to honorary membership in the Alumni Association.

Election results were announced. Art Nelson (’75) was elected vice president and Tom Dinkel (’72) was elected alumni representative to the Board of Managers. Bob Steinhauser continues as secretary/treasurer.

The slate of vice president nominees to be voted on in 1997 was presented as follows: Ray Frischkorn (’65), Robert Schacht (’72) and Sherley Sample (’71).

Harmon Shaw (’46) presented a report from the Board of Managers. He noted the Vision to be the Best program is having great success.
