Boesenberg named president and CEO of Magellan Corp.

Chuck Boesenberg, a 1970 mechanical engineering graduate, has been named president and chief executive officer of Magellan Corp., the broadest based manufacturer/supplier of satellite access products for communications, position and navigation.

Magellan products are sold in more than 12,000 retail outlets in more than 100 countries through a network of dealers, distributors and agents.

Boesenberg had been president and CEO of Ashtech and retained that position when Ashtech merged with Magellan. He also serves on the boards of directors of Symantec Corp., and Merix Corp.
