Wetherell to head up annual fund; will coordinate class agent program

Carol Wetherell has been promoted to the position of director of annual giving. She is responsible for the Rose-Hulman Annual Fund that includes gifts from alumni, friends, parents, faculty and staff.

As part of her new duties, Wetherell will be working with the class agent program. Updating of that system will take place in the upcoming months, and she will be in contact with alumni for their assistance.

Prior to her new position, Wetherell was director of friend giving. She has been with Rose-Hulman for seven years, also serving as executive secretary of the Commission on the Future of Rose-Hulman and as associate director of development.

Wetherell is a native of Terre Haute, and she holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Indiana State University.

Professional affiliations include the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) and the National Society of Fundraising Executives. She is a former regional officer for the Indiana Society of Fund-Raising Executives. She is active in various civic organizations, including the Kiwanis Club of Terre Haute.
