The Chemical Engineering Department, along with the High Bay Lab is located in Olin Hall.  Olin Hall is pictured on the left from the front lawn of Rose-Hulman.

The Corning Distillation Column is one of the twenty unit operation projects located in the High Bay Lab. The column separates iso-propanol and iso-butanol. While working on this project the students learn about process automation and multi-component distillation.

The students work in small groups, closely with their faculty advisor while in the lab. Before graduating, each student will have worked on seven different unit operations projects.
