Dec. 21, 2007 Expect Biggest Winter Fair Ever on January
23rd When we return in the new year, it will only be a few short weeks until our next career fair, which is scheduled for Wednesday January 23rd from 11am to 4pm in the SRC. It will be our biggest Winter Career Fair to date and there are some great companies slated to attend. Be sure to check out our company list online for all the companies and who they are looking for. St. Jude Medical Virtual Career Fair The Atrial Fibrillation Division of St. Jude Medical is hosting a virtual career fair on January 8th and 9th. This is a two day live event with an additional 30 days of On-Demand access, so you can check back often to review their jobs and posted information. They are hoping for a large number of Rose-Hulman participants, so be sure to register and take part!
The Atrial Fibrillation Division develops products to diagnose, treat and seek a cure for atrial fibrillation, the world's most common cardiac arrhythmia, and other cardiac rhythm disorders. St. Jude Medical's product portfolio includes sophisticated mapping and visualization systems, electrophysiology catheters, and surgical and catheter ablation devices. Click here to register now for this free event! Can you Spare an Hour or Two? Maybe right now you don’t think you have a spare minute much less a whole hour, but with the break upon us, this is the perfect time to update your resume and profile in eRecruiting. Once we return in January, you will have about two weeks until the Winter Career Fair, with many of the jobs associated with that fair closing at varying times during those two weeks. Get ahead of the game and take a look during break while you have some of that stuff they call free time! Career Services closes today, but we will be back in the office on January 2nd if you need assistance. Give us a call or shoot us an email! EIP and BE Intern Programs Gearing Up Application packets have been sent to companies inviting them to apply to participate in the 2008 Entrepreneurial Internship Program (EIP) and the Biomedical Engineering Internship Program. The deadline is January 3rd so watch upcoming eNews issues or check our website for the list of companies that will be chosen to participate. Participating companies will attend the winter or spring career fair, so check them out when they are announced! |
