What an exciting time for graduates, as well as family and friends! We've provided information for each type of audience below.

You may order caps, gowns, diploma frames, announcements and other graduation merchandise during the Graduation Fair in April. If you miss the fair, you may order items through the bookstore. Traffic/Parking

The following traffic/parking changes will take place Saturday, May 27 for Commencement.

8 a.m. No parking will be allowed in the fire lane adjacent to BSB Hall from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. Students who live in BSB Hall should plan accordingly as no loading of vehicles can be allowed adjacent to the building. This does not prevent individuals from loading their vehicles while parked in the large lots. We must keep this area completely clear of vehicles in preparation for the commencement procession lineup.

10 a.m. The main entrance, the roadway leading to Hatfield Hall, and the roadway directly south of Olin Hall will completely close to ALL traffic. We close the south portion of campus to ensure the safety of all campus community members involved in the procession. You can still enter and exit the campus by using the Circle K gas station entrance, the Moench/Myers parking lot, and the roadway north of Crapo/Logan.

10:30 a.m. At, or slightly before, all campus roadways will be closed to traffic until the commencement procession enters the SRC. The only exception will be the Circle K entrance and the Moench/Myers parking lot.

11 a.m.(approximately) All campus roadways will open and traffic flow will return to normal.

PARKING: The Sports and Recreation Center west parking lot will be the designated handicap parking area. Approximately 90 spaces will be reserved for this purpose.  As noted above, be aware that all roadways will close at 10:30 a.m. and at that point the handicap reserve area will no longer be available.

For Family and Friends

Please be our guest at the Senior Celebration Reception the day before commencement. Then let commencement, well, commence!

Here are some helpful tips for your celebration.

Guest seating: Tickets are not required to attend commencement. As a courtesy to all guests, we ask that you not hold seats for others. If you require handicap access or seating for hearing impaired, you may request it in advance by contacting Lyndi Bahr in the Office of Student. Handicap parking is also available.

Photographs and videos: The Sports and Recreation Center is not suited for long-range photography, especially flash photography. A professional photographer from Graduation Images will be present on stage at the ceremony to take a photograph of each graduate as he or she receives the diploma from the president. You will receive a free proof of this photo in the mail. A video of the ceremony will also be available for purchase for $40 from Circle City Audio. Graduates will receive order forms in advance or you may contact Circle City Audio to place an order: Circle City Audio, Inc., Attn: Alyse Pelance, 4008 Lower Huntington Rd., Fort Wayne, IN 46809, 317-536-2979.
