GobleTERRE HAUTE, IND. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology head volleyball coach Brenda Goble has been inducted into the Guilford College Athletic Hall of Fame for her efforts during a standout playing career.

Goble was the 1993 Old Dominion Athletic Conference Volleyball Player of the Year and a three-time, first-team all-region selection as a middle hitter.

Goble continues to hold school records at Guilford for kills, hitting percentage and solo blocks.

On the basketball court, Goble was the ODAC Player of the Year in 1993 and 1994 and a three-time honorable mention Kodak All-American.  She received the North Carolina Collegiate Award for Excellence in 1993 and the Nereus C. English Athletic Leadership Award in 1992.

Goble has served as the only volleyball coach in the history of Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology since arriving on campus in 1996.  She has also served as head coach of the women's basketball and tennis teams, along with her current role as the department's Senior Women's Administrator.  Her efforts helped Rose-Hulman receive an 'A' rating in gender equity from the Women's Sports Foundation
