TERRE HAUTE, IND. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology track and field team held the Fifth Annual Intrasquad Meet at the Sports and Recreation Center.

More than 90 team members were divided into the Runnin' Elephants and the Fightin' Engineers for the event. The team roster includes 48 returning letter winners from previous seasons.
"The Intrasquad Meet is a culmination of our preseason workouts. It's a fun event but something our team takes very seriously," said head coach Larry Cole.
The squads were chosen by a draft of the team, with seniors split into the two squad. The defending Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference champions will open the 2013 season on Jan. 12 with the Terre Haute Double Dual featuring Indiana State, Illinois State, Illinois Wesleyan and Washington University (Mo.).
