NAPERVILLE, ILL. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology enjoyed a strong overall performance at the North Central College Last Chance Invitational on Friday night.
Senior Creasy Clauser (Crawfordsville/Southmont) led the performance with a school record in the 400-meter dash. Clauser recorded a time of 57.50 seconds.
Event winners included senior Liz Evans (Bicknell/North Knox) in the high jump (5' 8 3/4") and Travis Stallings (Cincinnati, Ohio/Colerain) with a career-best time in the 400-meter hurdles (53.30 seconds).
Senior Tyler Hannan (Winchester, Ky./George Rogers Clark) finished a strong second in the 400-meter dash (48.69 seconds), and senior Trey Cahill (Auburn/DeKalb) was third in the hammer throw (179' 5") to round out the effort.
Rose-Hulman will await the final NCAA Division III Outdoor National Championship competition release before learning the number of Fightin' Engineers qualifiers for the Nationals on May 23-25.
