TERRE HAUTE, IND. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology seniors Creasy Clauser (Crawfordsville/Southmont) and Greg Larmore (Deerfield, Ill.) earned Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Track and Field Athlete of the Week honors in results released by the league office.
Clauser was named the HCAC Women's Track Athlete of the Week, while Larmore claimed the Men's Field Athlete of the Week award.
Clauser won the 200-meter dash in a time of 27.18 seconds and also helped Rose-Hulman’s sweep two relay events at the Friday Night Invitational. Clauser was part of a 4-x-200 meter relay team that finished with the third best time in school history (1:51.70) and helped the 4-x-400 meter relay team also capture top honors.
Larmore won the men’s weight throw at the Friday Night Invitational with the second-best throw in Rose-Hulman history. He recorded a toss of 53’ 3 1/2” as part of an effort that helped Rose-Hulman win the six-team men’s competition.
Rose-Hulman returns to action with the Engineer Invitational, featuring nine teams from across the Midwest, on Saturday at the Sports and Recreation Center.
