Bischak School Record Leads Louisville Effort

746-Bischak2LOUISVILLE, KY. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology student-athletes combined for one school record and two NCAA Division III Provisional Qualification marks at the University of Louisville on Friday night.

Senior Derek Bischak (Angola) (pictured) led Rose-Hulman with a school record and NCAA Provisional National Qualification time in the 1,500-meter run.  Bischak ran a time of 3:53.42 in the effort.

Junior Sutton Coleman (Lebanon, Va.) contributed a fourth-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles with another NCAA provisional mark of 52.99 seconds.

Other Rose-Hulman contributors included junior Micah Aldrich (Indianapolis/Warren Central) with a 3,000-meter steeplechase time of 9:26.64; sophomore Tyler Hannan (Winchester, Ky./George Rogers Clark) with a season-best 400-meter time of 49.14 seconds; and sophomore Brent Austgen (Cedar Lake/Hanover Central) with a 400-meter dash time of 51.42 seconds.

Selected individuals will compete at North Central College next weekend.
