TERRE HAUTE, IND. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of
Technology completed the 2011-12 women's tennis season with an
11-5 record after defeating IU-East 8-1 on Thursday night at the
Wabash Valley Tennis Center.
Fightin' Engineers finishing the match with perfect 2-0 marks included sophomore Marie Stettler (Edgerton, Wis./Senior) at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles; sophomore Colleen Stevenson (Bolton, Mass./Nashoba Regional) at No. 3 singles and No. 2 doubles; sophomore Paige Cook (Terre Haute/North) at No. 4 singles and No. 2 doubles; freshman Kylie McCollum (Lee's Summit, Mo./West) at No. 5 singles and No. 3 doubles; and sophomore Lauren Reberger (Brazil/Northview) at No. 6 singles and No. 3 doubles.
Rose-Hulman finished 11-5 in a season that featured the second consecutive Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference women's tennis regular season title for the Fightin' Engineers last fall.
