TERRE HAUTE, IND. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of
Technology sophomore Nate Moore (Scottsdale,
Ariz.) has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic
Conference Player of the Week for his efforts against Trine on
Saturday.
Moore earned a 6-2, 7-5 victory at the No. 5 singles position, then teamed with Ray Montgomery for an 8-5 win at the No. 3 doubles spot. Rose-Hulman narrowly lost the match 5-4.
Moore stands 2-0 in doubles with Montgomery this season and is 1-1 in singles play. The Fightin' Engineers return to action on March 10 with matches against Franklin and Indiana Tech.
