COMPLETE RESULTS

Kline1TERRE HAUTE, IND. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's and women's swimming and diving teams competed against Millikin University on Friday night. 

Three individuals won two events each to pace the Engineer women's effort.  On the swimming side, freshman Laura Danhauer (Barrington, Ill.) swept the 500- and 1,000-freestyle events in time of 5:53.18 and 12:30.50.  Junior Shannon Cunnien (Brooklyn Park, Minn./Benilde-St. Margaret's) added victories in the 100-freestyle (59.46) and 100-breaststroke (1:19.39).

Junior Nicole Richardson (Janesville, Wis./George Parker) swept the one- and three-meter diving events with scores of 181.85 and 185.65.  Freshman Celeste Kline (Terre Haute/North) added the seventh and final women's victory in the 100-backstroke in a time of 1:06.42.

The men's squad captured 10 individual event victories and also won two relay events on the evening. 

Junior John Huster (Terre Haute/North) earned wins in the 50-freestyle (22.23) and the 100-butterfly (52.96).  Junior Matt Ross (West Lafayette/Harrison) also contriuted two swimming wins in the 100-backstroke (1:00.24) and the 400-individual medley (4:29.62).

Junior Ryely Moore (Claremont, Calif.) added two event wins by sweeping the one- and three-meter diving events with 145.95 and 146.05 points.

Other individual winners included sophomore Stephen Wuest (Fort Wayne/Dwenger) in the 100-freestyle (52.50); sophomore Aaron Foreman (Kingwood, Texas) in the 200-freestyle (1:57.29); sophomore Chris Petersen (Summit, N.J.) in the 500-freesyle (5:25.93); and freshman Stephen Housman (Elkhart/Concord) in the 1,000-freestyle (11:46.56).

The men's portion of the squad returns to action on Saturday at Wabash College.  The women's team will return to the competition pool on Nov. 18 at the Wabash Invitational.
