TERRE HAUTE, IND. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of
Technology senior Allison Faber (St. Louis,
Mo./Cor Jesu Academy) captured Heartland
Collegiate Athletic Conference Softball Player of the Week
honors in results released by the league office.
Faber batted .600 with a .714 on-base average and a 1.100 slugging percentage to lead Rose-Hulman's offense in a 2-2 week at Centre College last weekend.
Faber finished 6-10 at the plate with two doubles and one home run, for 11 total bases in 10 at bats. She also contributed five RBIs and scored four runs for the Engineers.
Rose-Hulman stands 4-8 on the season after sweeping Oberlin and Centre on Sunday.
