JohnstoneACINDIANAPOLIS, IND. -- Marian University scored in overtime to top Rose-Hulman 2-1 in women's soccer action on Saturday.

Freshman Hayley Gilliam (Zionsville) scored her second goal of the season on an assist from freshman Helena Bomber (Bargersville/Center Grove) in the 57th minute.

Marian answered with a game tying goal in the second half, then scored the match winner in overtime.

Samantha Bunn knotted the score in the 67th minute, before Samantha Cook scored the game winner in the third minute of overtime.

Marian outshot Rose-Hulman 17-11 in the hard fought matchup.  Gilliam joined senior Amy Schleter (Knoxville, Tenn./Karns), freshman Mallory McDevitt (Wapakoneta, Ohio) and sophomore Nicky Wheeler (Avon) with two shots each.

Freshman Lucinda Combs (Danville, Ky./Boyle County) reached double figures with 10 saves to keep the Engineers within striking distance.

Rose-Hulman stands 2-2 on the season and hosts Centre on Sunday at 2 p.m.
