CLEVELAND, OHIO -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology fell to No. 8 Ohio Northern University 2-0 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament at Case Western Reserve Saturday.
The team's 16-6 season resulted in school records with 16 wins, 56 total goals and an 11-match winning streak to close the regular season.
The Engineers were led by sophomore Will Senat (Edmond, Okla./North) with two shots.
Freshman goalkeeper Drew Miller (Cincinnati, Ohio/Bishop Fenwick) recorded five saves on the day.
Ohio Northern scored late in the first half to take a 1-0 lead into halftime. The Polar Bears added a second goal in the 56th minute to give them the 2-0 advantage.
Ohio Northern will play the winner of the matchup between DePauw and Case Western on Sunday.
