CRAWFORDSVILLE, IND. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology relied on three first half goals to top Wabash College 3-1 in men's soccer action on Saturday in Crawfordsville.
Senior Clint Vatterrodt (Bloomington, Ill./University) scored twice in the first 30 minutes to help the Engineers gain control of the match.
Vatterrodt scored in the third minute to give Rose-Hulman a 1-0 lead, then added a second score off a pass from sophomore Ben Green (Frisco, Texas/Centennial) to make the score 2-1.
Sophomore John Munson (Bloomington, Ill./University) provided the final goal of the day on another assist from Green.
Rose-Hulman improved to 2-2 on the season and travels to DePauw University for an in-state matchup on Sunday. Wabash stands 1-2-1 on the campaign.
