WEST LAFAYETTE, IND. -- The Rose-Hulman
Institute of Technology rifle team placed second of seven teams at
the Purdue University Invitational on Saturday.
Freshman Adam Foss (Fort Wayne/ Concordia Lutheran) led the team score with a balanced 1,131. Foss scored 565 in smallbore and 566 in air rifle.
Freshman Evan Duvall (Smyrna, Tenn.) came home second among Engineers with 1,093 points. Senior Parker Lee (Swannanoa, N.C./C.D. Owen) added a score of 1,085.
Junior Malhon Godwin (Blue Grass, Iowa/Davenport West) placed fourth among Engineers with 1,078 points. Sophomore Will Adler (Stroudsburg, Pa.) rounded out Rose-Hulman's top five scores with 1,035 points.
Rose-Hulman returns to action at Murray State University in January.
