ANDERSON, IND. -- Three individuals opened
the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's golf season by
competing at Killbuck Golf Course on Saturday and
Sunday.
Senior Allison Luther (Beach Park, Ill.) (pictured) led the team effort with the best 18- and 36-hole scores of her college career. Luther tied her career-best college score with a round of 85 on Sunday. She completed Saturday's round with an 87 to place 20th overall among 44 competitors.
Junior Bailey Wagner (South Bend, Ind./Laville) placed second among Engineers with rounds of 94 and 93 for 30th place.
Rose-Hulman will compete as a team for the first time this fall at the Hanover College Invitational next weekend.
