DEFIANCE, OHIO --
Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology freshman Emily Barker
(Fort Wayne, Ind./Leo) earned all-league honors to lead
the team performance at the Heartland Collegiate Athletic
Conference Women's Golf Championships on Saturday and Sunday.
Barker rallied to pass seven golfers on Sunday with a round of 84 to tie for eighth place in the championships. Her effort also included a round of 91 on Saturday and helped the Engineers place seventh in the team scoring.
Senior Bailey Wagner (South Bend, Ind./Laville) and freshman Deanne De Keizer (Mishawaka, Penn.) provided depth with 20th place performances and two-day scores of 189.
