HAUTE, IND. -- The 2012 Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology
football opener
against Kalamazoo College will be broadcast live online and three
times on replay
next week via the Indianapolis based WRTV 6-2 HTSN channel
available in more
than one million homes in Indiana.
Webstream Productions will produce the game live online at
www.rose-hulman.tv.
Turner Coaches, the official travel provider
for Rose-Hulman athletics in the 2012-13 academic year, will serve
as the game
sponsor and cover all costs associated with the broadcast.
The game will also be replayed on WRTV 6-2 HTSN over the
air
in Indianapolis and in digital broadcast cable markets
throughout
Indiana. Replay times are set for 3 p.m. on Sunday
Sept. 2; 10 p.m. on Sunday Sept. 2; and 3 p.m. on Monday Sept. 3 on
WRTV 6-2 HTSN.
The video broadcast will be archived on www.rose-hulman.tv and be available for free viewing on demand starting next week. Hometown Sports Indiana will rely on a four-camera production crew to provide complete coverage of the game.
Greg Rakestraw from Hometown Sports Indiana will serve as
the play-by-play announcer, with former Rose-Hulman head football
coach and
Athletic Hall of Fame Inductee Scott Duncan providing
commentary.
The game will mark the second video production of a Rose-Hulman live athletic event on campus. The remaining home contests will feature audio broadcasts on WMHD-90.7 FM in Terre Haute and online at www.wmhdradio.org.
