VERSAILLES, KY. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's cross country team placed fourth in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference men's cross country championships hosted by Transylvania University on Saturday.

Senior Tyler Kreipke (Zionsville) led the Rose-Hulman performance with a strong second place finish in a time of 25:53.

Freshman Andrew Thompson (Mundelein, Ill./Vernon Hills) captured honorable mention all-league accolades with a 13th place finish.  Thompson recorded a time of 26:59.

Freshman Michael Gerhardt (Cincinnati, Ohio/St. Xavier) also claimed honorable mention all-conference efforts with a 19th place effort in 27:21.

Senior Derek Bischak (Angola) added a time of 27:30 for 23rd place, and junior Micah Aldrich (Indianapolis/Warren Central) rounded out the team score with a 26th place in 27:38.

Rose-Hulman will compete in the NCAA Division III Regionals in Michigan on Nov. 13.
