VIEW OVER 280 PHOTOS FROM THE MEET

rhit-runnersTERRE HAUTE, IND. -- Claremont-Mudd-Scripps won the Gibson Family NCAA Division III Pre-National Meet, featuring nine nationally ranked teams, on Saturday in Terre Haute.

Augustana came home second, followed by Wabash and Johns Hopkins.

Rose-Hulman finished 22nd of 30 teams in the event.  Junior Andrew Thompson (Mundelein, Ill./Vernon Hills) led the Fightin' Engineers with an eight-kilometer time of 27:08.

Sophomore Stuart West (La Porte) came home second among Rose-Hulman runners in 27:12.  Sophomore Josh Hojnacki (La Porte) contributed a time of 27:32, with junior Robbie Mayhew (Terre Haute) next among Fightin' Engineers at 27:42.

Rose-Hulman returns to action at the Wilmington Invitational on Friday.
