Dickerson (Elizabethtown, Ky.) was named first-team
all-Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference, and Sheree
Williams (Bluffton, S.C.) was named to the all-freshman
team in women's basketball balloting results released by the league
office.
Dickerson set a single-season school record with 500 points and finished as the league leader in rebounds at 8.3 per game. She also ranked No. 2 in the league in scoring average at 18.5 points per game.
Dickerson caps her career ranked No. 2 in school history in points (1,417); No. 3 in rebounds (772); No. 1 in assists (327); No. 3 in blocks (140); No. 4 in steals (142); and No. 1 in free throws (471).
The Capital One Academic All-American reached double figures in scoring in every game this season and recorded 12 games of 20 or more points, including a 30-point effort against Earlham. She earned two first-team all-league honors and one honorable mention all-conference award in her playing career.
Williams started all
27 games as a freshman and averaged 8.5 points, 2.8 rebounds and
1.4 assists per game during her first season of college
basketball. Her efforts included a season-high 17 points
against Webster.
Williams reached double figures in scoring 11 times and scored 16 points against Manchester in Rose-Hulman's first postseason win in school history in the HCAC Tournament First Round.
In addition, sophomore Kelsey Ploof (Noblesville) was chosen to the league's all-sportsmanship team. Ploof averaged 9.5 points and 6.1 rebound per game this season.
Rose-Hulman finished 9-18 on the season and was sixth in the league at 6-12 in HCAC play.
