TERRE HAUTE, IND. - Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology featured four players in double-figures as they defeated Hanover College 75-61 on men's basketball Senior Day to finish the regular season.  The win also gives the Engineers the No. 3 seed in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament.

Rose-Hulman was led by senior Blake Knotts (Louisville, Ky./Christian) and junior Austin Weatherford (Cicero, Ind./Hamilton Heights) who both scored 18 points.  Sophomore Julian Strickland (Indianapolis, Ind./Pike) added 17 points off the bench and senior Spencer Harlan (Terre Haute, Ind./South Vigo) chipped in with 11.  Weatherford also led the team with eight rebounds and six assists while Harlan added seven rebounds.

Harlan, Jason Haslag (Linn, Mo./Helias Interparrish) and Knotts were honored in pre-game Senior Day ceremonies.  Knotts moved into second place on the career three-point list with 193 with his six treys on the day.

Hanover battled the Engineers to a 13-13 tie with 8:26 left in the first half before Rose-Hulman used a 18-8 run to end the half.  Strickland and Weatherford both hit two three-pointers to led the rally.  Harlan also added four points while junior Jon Gerken (Defiance, Ohio/Tinora) added two.  

Rose-Hulman never looked back as they increased their second half lead to as much as 25 points.  The Engineers shot 64% from the field in the second half including 8-11 from three, led by Knotts who went 5-7.    

The Engineers are now 17-8 on the year, 11-7 in the HCAC.  Hanover fell to 16-8, 12-6 in league play.  Rose-Hulman returns to action Friday night with a matchup against Defiance College in the first round of the HCAC Tournament in Lexington, Ky.
