Career: Nick gained varsity time behind the
plate and made his mark on the Engineer lineup as a junior.
2012: Made 28 starts and 34 appearances primarily at
catcher...batted .220 with 18 hits, nine runs scored and 16
RBIs...had two doubles and one triple...slapped both doubles, one
triple and had five RBIs in a victory over Westminster...set a
career-high with seven total bases in the Westminster win...set a
career-high with six putouts against Loras, Bluffton
and Earlham.
2011: Appeared in 22 games with 10 starts behind the plate...threw
out five runners attempting to steal with 52 putouts and 13
assists...slapped five hits, including two doubles, with two runs
scored...had doubles at Bluffton and Hanover...recorded two RBIs
against Defiance and Manchester.
2010: Provided depth to the split squad in his first college
year.
At Rose-Hulman: Dean's List honoree twice...member of the Triangle
fraternity.
High School: Two-year varsity letter winner and Mental Attitude
Award at Terre Haute North Vigo High School... earned three
academic letters...member of the National Honor Society.
