2012: Named a first-team Capital One Academic All-American for his
efforts on the mound and in the classroom...maintains a perfect 4.0
grade point average as a double major...was 3-1 with a 4.61 earned
run average on the mound...scattered 59 hits in 41 innings with 17
strikeouts...tossed 8.1 innings and allowed just one earned run in
a win at Defiance...allowed no earned runs in 3.2 innings against
Earlham...tossed five innings and allowed three runs with three
strikeouts to pick up a win against nationally
ranked Illinois Wesleyan.
2011: Earned first-team Capital One Academic All-District honors
after compiling a perfect 4.0 grade point average and appearing in
14 games...made four starts with a 4-2 record and a 4.21 earned run
average...recorded 14 strikeouts in 36.1 innings of work...allowed
one earned in six innings of work vs. Augustana and Fontbonne...had
a career-high three strikeouts against Augustana...tossed four
scoreless innings with two strikeouts against Mount St.
