Setting up the Schedule on ANGEL

Schedule Page Generator Documentation--Setting up the Schedule on ANGEL

Instructions

The schedule webpage has been copied to your clipboard as HTML code after you have clicked on the Copy HTML Code To Clipboard button as seen in the picture above. The following are the steps that you should take to insert your newly created schedule onto your ANGEL webpage.
  1. Login to ANGEL and navigate to your course.
  2. Click on your Lessons Tab.
  3. Click on Add Content
  4. Then Add a Page.
  5. It is important that you call your page Schedule. If you fail to do so, the "Go to bottom of page" link will not work.
  6. Paste the code you copied into the Page Text area and make sure that the Page Format is on HTML Text.
  7. Click Save
  8. You may now use the HTML editor to add topics and preparation content. Additionally, you may change the terms "Topics" and "Preparation" if you wish
  9. If you know HTML, you may also choose to edit the code directly.

Importing the Day folders for your class structure

  1. The links to Day 01, etc, should be accompanied by importing a set of files from the RHIT Common Materials Library.
  2. Go to your Lessons Tab.
  3. Choose Add Content, then Import Content.
  4. Under the Section pulldown, select Library: RHIT Common Materials then click Browse.
  5. Click the link that says To Copy.
  6. If you have a lab in your schedule, click the link for Lab Schedule Folders.
  7. Now click the checkbox next to the right Weekly Content schedule folder for the number of meetings you have per week (a lab does not count into that number of days, so if you have a MTRF class with a Wednesday Lab, select the Weekly Content -- 4 Meetings Per Week with Lab option).
  8. Click the Copy Items button.
  9. Click Done.
