The Student
Alumni Association (SAA) is beginning a
new tradition of brining Rose-Hulman
students and alumni together with the help
of alumni like yourself acting as hosts
for a R.O.S.I.E Dinner (Reaching Out to
Students in Engineering). This
get-together is a dinner party hosted by
an alumni, possibly you, for current
students. These small dinner parties will
give students an opportunity to meet and
socialize with successful alumni in a
friendly environment.
If you
decide to host a dinner, a member of SAA
will assist you in planning and will
attend the dinner to act as a formal
liaison between you and your guests. You
choose the date, place, the meal, the
atmosphere, and even the theme, if you
chose to have one. The Student Alumni
Association will invite student to your
dinner with majors similar to your
profession.
The goal of
these dinners is two-fold. First, to
assist students gain a better
understanding of the opportunities
available to them after they graduate.
They will be able to see first hand the
benefits of a Rose-Hulman degree. Second,
it will give you an opportunity to meet
current students and see how they are
experiencing the same institution you once
attended.
If you are
interested in hosting a R.O.S.I.E Dinner,
please complete and return the on-line
interest form. A member of SAA will
contact you to discuss the details.
