Seminars
Each degree program includes three (3) one-day seminars that
emphasize interaction with technical business executives and other
Engineering Management students. The topics include such
things as Manufacturing Issues, Human Resources, Communication, and
Ethics. A recent seminar on Global Issues, for example, included
presentations and discussions with the Indiana state government
Director for International Development and 3 Engineering Management
alumni who work in global product development, international
operations management and global logistics management. The
session also included examination of international outsourcing and
immigration, and their implications for technical managers.
