A. Reservations for court use are not required, however, reservations will be given priority over individuals or groups that have not made a reservation. For racquetball or tennis court reservations, drop by the SRC Office or call 877-8069. The maximum length of a racquetball reservation is 1 hour, and reservations must be made at least 1 hour in advance.
B. Reservations for the pool and indoor courts located in the fieldhouse can be made up to 48 hours in advance, except in the case of varsity athletics, intramural, and Rose-Hulman groups. Varsity athletics, intramural, and Rose-Hulman groups can make reservations up to one year in advance. All reservations must be made in person or by telephone; no reservation will be accepted for anyone other than the person making a reservation. When making a reservation, you must have a valid ID and valid phone number.
All venue pricing is a preset fee designed to cover all costs associated with hosting events for the RHIT Recreational Sports and Athletic Facilities Department. These preset fees will only be charged to non-Rose-Hulman community events. The Recreational Sports and Athletic Facilities Department reserves the right to adjust the fee charged to a non-Rose-Hulman community event in the case the event is sponsored by a not-for-profit organization. This adjustment will be made so as the organization running the said event will, in the least, break even, and RHIT will still, in the least, break even.
The RHIT Recreational Sports and Athletic Facilities Department will not charge any Rose-Hulman community event, sponsored by an on-campus Rose-Hulman organization, a fee to use any Recreational or Athletic Facilities. C. Intramurals may have certain facilities reserved for tournaments or special events. Student organizations and university departments are eligible for this service. For information, call Alan Morrison at 877-8054.
Cancellations/No Shows
A. A court which is not claimed 10 minutes after the start of the reserved time will automatically be forfeited and given to the first individual that requests it.
B. As a courtesy, individuals who are unable to keep a reservation are asked to call the Sports and Recreation Center Office (877-8069) in advance of the reservation time in order to allow a new reservation to be made.
