2005 Bavarian Tour
Items to bring:
- Passport
- Xerox of passport in separate location
- Student ID
- Personal & health insurance cards (& copies)
- Washcloth w/ plastic bag, soap, shampoo
- Clothes for 9 days (you can wear things twice to save space)
- A change of clothes in your carry-on in case luggage gets lost
- Camera, batteries and film (if needed)
| 23 Feb | 1230 | Depart TH for Customs office to fill out 4457 forms. This should not take very long. Park and check-in about 1500 |
| 1640 | US Airways Flight 284 departs IND. | |
| 24 Feb | 1025 | US Airways Flight 14 arrives MUC. Go through customs. Get the van. |
| 1200 | Depart for
Anschutz factory in Ulm. Arrive by 1400. Get a quick lunch somewhere

Lindau. Arrive about
1530 at Gasthof Inselgraben to

| 1730 | Travel to Schützengesellschaft Lindau, one of the oldest clubs in Germany (1397). Shoot from 1800-1930. Dinner from 1930 to maybe 2130 while they have their annual meeting a then have a drink with them afterward. | |
| 26 Feb | 0630 | Up early today! Eat at 0700 and leave at 0730 for Hohenschwangau to buy our tickets for Neuschwanstein and hopefully get the first tour. Walk 30 minutes up the mountain to the castle. Tour at 1000. Walk back down at 1100. Leave at 1130. |
| 1200 | Arrive Wieskirche. Check out it for 30 minutes or so and leave for Ettal. | |
| 1330 | Arrive at Ettal and have lunch in monastery hotel | |
| 1430 | Leave for Linderhof Castle (closes at 1600) | |
| 1630 | Leave for

| 1900 | Walk over to SG Grainau and shoot in their "Vortelschießen", a traditional Bavarian shooting game, at 1930. Eat dinner afterward. | |
| 27 Feb | 0800 | Eat breakfast. Mass at the local church at 0900 for those interested. |
| 1030 | Leave for Innsbruck | |
| 1200 | Arrive Innsbruck. Wander around the Old Town and see the sights like Alpenzoo. | |
| 1730 | Leave for Münster. Arrive about 40 minutes later and

| 1430 | Leave for the salt mine at Hallein. Tour salt mine / celtic miner village | |
