Services professionals are committed to total customer

document duplicating and finishing for the Campus community.
Hours and Delivery
The MCC hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 am -
4:30 pm. Deliveries
are made during the hours of operation. Print and Copy Services is located
in the Facilities building, FAC102.
Copyright Guidelines
RHIT encourages the sharing of
ideas, including written materials, between staff, faculty, and
students. However, we also recognize the right of the owners
of copyrighted material to control the dissemination of their work.
It is the responsibility of those who
request duplication of material to insure that federal copyright
laws are not violated. If you have any questions, copies of
the booklet, Questions and Answers on Copyright for Campus
Communities, are available free of charge in the Mail and Copy Center or
contact Jeff
Schoonover to request one via campus
mail.
Document Guidelines for Printing
Services Available - A to Z
Binding - We can do the following types of binding for
books and other publications: Spiral, thermal and saddle-stitching.
Booklet Making- We have a Xerox booklet maker. It will
fold and saddle stitch all in one operation.
Collating - This is the process of arranging pages in sequence,
for example, when making books and other sets of documents. Collating is
done on the copier and some by hand.
Copying -
Black and White -
We have two Xerox 4590 digital copiers that will print
90 pages
per minute. With two machines, jobs can be run simultaneously and turn
around time shortened.
Color -
Color copying is available on our Xerox DC 12 at 12 pages per
minute or our Xerox DC 3535 at 35 pages per minute. Please contact Print and
Copy Services for current pricing.
These copiers allow us to build any job using different programming. We
can:

Insert dividers
Drilling - This is the process of drilling holes into paper or cardstock.
The hole sizes are 3/16", 1/4" and 3/8".
Folding - This is used for brochures, letters, etc.
Laminating - This is to seal and protect pages that will be used
again and again.
Padding - An adhesive compound is spread across the edge of the
sheets to hold them together in books or sets. For any pad work, except
carbonless sets, standard counts are usually 25, 50, or 100. This is used
for office forms, scratch pads and NCR (carbonless) forms.
Printing - We have offset printing that can print in either black
or black and red.

Ordering
To have a printing job processed quickly, place an electronic
Work Order (Electronic
version) via your internet browser. (The Work Order is
best viewed in Internet Explorer 6.) Complete all of the required
fields (marked by red lettering), plus any additional fields with the
information needed for the Print Shop to process your Work Order. Note: file
attachment should be in PDF format*, otherwise contact Print and Copy Services at x8355 prior to submitting
your Work Order. You may also place your Work Order in person by completing a
paper form available at the Print Shop or by downloading the paper
Work

Most services are paid by Administrative Services, except for the following:

All costs for color copying are
charged back to the customer.
An invoice will be sent to your department budget manager at the beginning
