The MCC hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. Deliveries are made during the hours of operation.  Print and Copy Services is located in the Facilities building, FAC102.

Copyright Guidelines

RHIT encourages the sharing of ideas, including written materials, between staff, faculty, and students.  However, we also recognize the right of the owners of copyrighted material to control the dissemination of their work.

It is the responsibility of those who request duplication of material to insure that federal copyright laws are not violated.  If you have any questions, copies of the booklet, Questions and Answers on Copyright for Campus Communities, are available free of charge in the Mail and Copy Center or contact Jeff Schoonover to request one via campus mail.

Document Guidelines for Printing

Services Available - A to Z

Binding - We can do the following types of binding for books and other publications: Spiral, thermal and saddle-stitching.

Booklet Making- We have a Xerox booklet maker. It will fold and saddle stitch all in one operation.

Collating - This is the process of arranging pages in sequence, for example, when making books and other sets of documents. Collating is done on the copier and some by hand.

Copying

Black and White -

We have two Xerox 4590 digital copiers that will print 90 pages per minute. With two machines, jobs can be run simultaneously and turn around time shortened.

Color -

Color copying is available on our Xerox DC 12 at 12 pages per minute or our Xerox DC 3535 at 35 pages per minute. Please contact Print and Copy Services for current pricing.

These copiers allow us to build any job using different programming. We can:

  • Staple
  • Remove unwanted marks on the original
  • Copy from books
  • Reduce or enlarge
  • Shift an image
  • Add covers
  • Place multiple images on a single page
  • Make transparencies
  • Make brochures and booklets
  • Copy mixed size originals
  • Insert dividers

Drilling - This is the process of drilling holes into paper or cardstock. The hole sizes are 3/16", 1/4" and 3/8".

Folding - This is used for brochures, letters, etc.

Laminating - This is to seal and protect pages that will be used again and again.

Padding - An adhesive compound is spread across the edge of the sheets to hold them together in books or sets. For any pad work, except carbonless sets, standard counts are usually 25, 50, or 100. This is used for office forms, scratch pads and NCR (carbonless) forms.

Printing - We have offset printing that can print in either black or black and red.
