OUR MISSION
The Mail Distribution Center sorts all incoming letter mail and packages delivered to the campus for students, faculty, and staff, in compliance with USPS regulations and other Institute, local, state, or federal policies relating to mail requirements.
Faculty, staff, and students must comply with the Institute's Campus Mail Distribution Policy.
INBOUND PACKAGES The institute's electronic package tracking system uses scanning technology that allows the Mail Distribution Center (MDC) to track your package upon delivery by the carrier (FedEX, UPS, DHL, USPS) to campus, through delivery to you.
All notices regarding incoming packages will be made by email. The message you will receive appears as follows:
ADDRESSING At the U.S. Postal Service, mail is sorted by automated equipment, therefore, it is important for your mail to be addressed correctly.
Incoming mail should be addressed by following the standard format below: Main Campus
South Campus
*Note: The last two lines of any address should always be the postal address and then the City, State and Zip Code. Mail Forwarding Students, faculty and staff leaving for the summer, study abroad, co-op, withdrawals, graduating, sabbatical, and other temporary leaves of absences can add or change their mail forwarding address electronically through the Banner web system. It is important to keep your mail forwarding address information current to prevent possible delays in mail delivery. You can view your local, permanent and campus mail addresses, however, the mail forwarding address is the only address that can be added or updated. Simply follow these Banner Web User Instructions:
YOU are responsible for providing the Mail Distribution Center with a current mail forwarding address. Your mail will only be forwarded for the time period that you indicate in the "From" and "Until" date fields in the Forwarding Address database on the Banner Web Personal Information page as described in the Banner Web User Instructions above. The electronic system is intended to provide you with convenient, easy access to maintaining your current mail forwarding address whether on or off campus. Packages can not be forwarded without payment in advance. Please contact Rick Alumbaugh x 8490 to make forwarding arrangement for packages. This page is best viewed with Internet Explorer. |
