SharePoint is a web-based collaboration platform from Microsoft. It allows campus groups to share documents and host specialized web applications such as blogs and wikis. SharePoint is not a replacement for group and department webpages but is merely a tool to aid in collaboration.

IAIT maintains two SharePoint servers on campus. Every campus user has a homepage located on myrhit.rose-hulman.edu. The MyRHIT server is accessable by non Rose-Hulman users so it can be used for projects requiring collaboration between organizations. In addition to this campus departments have pages located at local.rose-hulman.edu. The Local server is only accessable by Rose-Hulman users.
