Descriptions, locations, and availability of our various athletic/recreational facilities can be found on this site along with many recreational opportunities.

The Department of Recreational Sports and Athletic Facilities provides programs, facilities, and services that promote active participation allowing the opportunity to achieve individual potential while having fun, relieving stress, promoting community and learning life-long skills. The Department offers informal recreation (at the Sports and Recreation Center and recreation fields), organized competitions (Intramurals), learning environments (Sport Clubs), structured group/personnel fitness opportunities (Human Performance) and opportunities for fitness and recreation with pool (Aquatics).

The Department of Recreational Sports and Athletic Facilities is located in the Sports and Recreation Center (SRC), which is a state of the art recreational and competitive sports venue that also serves as a convocation center for special events. The SRC was built in 1997 and offers 165,000 square feet of recreational and varsity athletic space. The Department also offers excellent recreational fields, which have Bermuda grass. The SRC has been designed for the students of Rose-Hulman to be the primary users, especially for leisure time, out-of-class activity, and athletic competition.
