The Instructional Technology Office has put together a multimedia presentation cart.  This cart is equipped with several tools to assist in the educational process.  These tools include some basic elements such as a VHS VCR, as well as a DVD player, and an LCD projector.   What makes this cart unique is the addition of a Dell 4500 desktop computer, VGA document camera, and the new SMART Sympodium interactive lectern.

This combination of tools allows you to make notes, using the Sympodium's stylus, on what you are projecting and save images of the annotated projection.  Using the computer, which is wirelessly connected to the network, you can place these saved files directly to your network drive or webpage so your students can download your notes at their leisure.

  • Reservations for the multimedia presentation cart may be taken by any staff member on duty in the Instructional Technology Office.
  • Any special requests (e.g. late evening or weekend requests) must be arranged with David Stevenson.
