Digital cameras are capable of capturing images directly into a digital format. This removes the need to develop the film and manually scan each photograph. At higher resolutions, digital photographs are comparable in quality to standard photos. Digital cameras are invaluable when a quick turnaround time for images is needed; images can be easily printed or imported to desktop publishing programs or web pages. The Digital Resource Center can help you edit and print your images, or offer advice regarding other uses.

Instructions
- There are five (5) digital cameras available for checkout.
- Available for checkout by instructors and students.
- Requests can be taken by any staff member on duty in the Instructional Technology Office.
- Any special requests (i.e. extended checkout period) should be arranged with David Stevenson (x8035).
