Thursday, December 1	Presentation and discussion of: Chapter 1, sections 1 and 2 from the book Swarm Intelligence: From Natural to Artificial Systems by Bonabeau, Dorigo, and Theraulaz. Presentation by Peter Fine and Robert Herbig. Chapter 2, sections 1 and 2 from the book Swarm Intelligence: From Natural to Artificial Systems by Bonabeau, Dorigo, and Theraulaz Presentation by Justin Parks and Kevin LaVerdiere.
Friday, December 2	I am out of town. Please use this time to think about possible projects for this course. Keep in mind the classification scheme we developed on Tuesday. In particular, some phenomenon has to emerge, there has to be some form of communication, and many rather simple processing agents.
