Please write only on one side of the paper. You are encouraged to discuss the homework with your colleagues, however, you are required to prepare your own solutions.

There will be three in-class exams which will consist of short essay from topics listed on the provided study guide.

There will be a holography workshop that will be conducted in DL115 at various times this term.  The specific dates will be posted on the web site and announced in class as they become available.   Your participation in one of the workshops will count toward your final grade.

The final grade will be determined as follows:

Homework – 40%

Exams – 45%

Holography Experiment – 15%

The last hologram session will be conducted for this Saturdays from 10 AM until about 1 PM.  Please make sure that you have a time scheduled to make your hologram - participating counts toward your course grade!

Please make sure that you turn in all homework sets and take all exams before the end of Final Exams Week.  If any items are missing, this will reduce your course grade!
