Advanced Physics Placement Exam

This is an optional exam for those students wishing to test out of the introductory physics course, Physics I, which covers mechanics, Coulomb's Law, and Lorentz Force Law. Students may bring a calculator and pencil for this exam.

Computer Science and Software Engineering (CSSE) Placement Test

CSSE lab, F225, Moench Hall
This optional placement test is for students who wish to place into CSSE 220, Object-Oriented Software Development. (But note that students who have earned scores of 4 or 5 on a CSSE AP exam will already be placed into the appropriate CSSE course and should not take this placement test.) CSSE 220 is intended for students who have sufficient programming experience to warrant skipping CSSE 120 (Introduction to Software Development). CSSE 220 is 4 credit hours; upon successful completion, 4 additional credit hours for CSSE 120 will be awarded.
