Application and Acceptance Process
Attendance is limited and an application is required for individuals and teams. The application deadline is March 31, 2014. Applicants will be notified of acceptance by April 15, 2014. Once you have been accepted for the workshop, payment is due in full. Payment information will be sent with your acceptance.
All fees must be paid by May 15, 2014 or your acceptance will be cancelled. The workshop fee includes a $50 non-refundable charge. No refunds can be made for cancellations after May 31, 2014.
On the application, teams and individuals are asked to provide a brief explanation (500 words or less) of the challenges, projects, and ideas that you bring to the workshop. Your responses will allow us to better match you (and your institutional team, if applicable) with workshop facilitators and other participants.
Graduate students are encouraged to apply for a MACH Change Agent Grant (partial/full funding of workshop fees) by 1) completing the online application, and 2) sending a separate email to firstname.lastname@example.org describing their future plans and explaining how attending the MACH workshop will further their goals. Graduate students will be notified of acceptance to the workshop and funding level by April 15, 2014.
