MediaWelcome to the Office of Communications
& Marketing

The mission of the Office of Communications and Marketing is to advance the institute’s reputation and brand, facilitate development of stakeholder relationships, and generate support for the institute through communications and marketing activities.

The office serves as a media resource and center for Rose-Hulman publications, social media, and web communications. We market special events and programs, and foster relationships with our local and state communities.

An award-winning staff

Our staff has received national awards from the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education, APEX Awards for Publication Excellence, and recognition from the College Sports Information Directors of America. While awards are affirming, they are secondary to the satisfaction we receive from helping the campus community advance the Rose-Hulman story.

Trio3A Few Facts

When it opened in 1874, Rose-Hulman became the first private engineering college west of the Allegheny Mountains. From an initial class of 25 students to a current undergraduate enrollment exceeding 2,000, the institute has changed considerably over the years, earning national recognition along the way.
