Role of Faculty Sponsor:

In order to guarantee that all talks are delivered at a level appropriate for a general mathematical audience containing undergraduate students and faculty, we are requesting that each speaker have a faculty sponsor. The faculty sponsor's role should include, but is not limited to:

• Proofreading the student's abstract so it accurately reflects the talk
• Helping the student prepare by insisting that the student practice
• Explaining to the student what it is like to give a talk at a conference
