What is WWW+10? A group of RHIT faculty and staff are planning a conference to take place here at Rose-Hulman in the Fall of 2004. Conference title: The World Wide Web at Ten: The Dream and the Reality Who is involved? Robert Cailliau, co-author of "How the Web was Born: The Story of the World Wide Web", will be the honorary conference chair and a keynote speaker. Through Robert's help we hope to attract other world wide web pioneers as keynote speakers.

The conference will be interdisciplinary, including discussions of societal, educational and technical implications of the world wide web. Conference theme: The theme is summarized in the conference title: contrast the original aims and expectations for the world wide web with the current results.
