Call for Student Members of Planning Committee for WWW+10 Conference

Deadline for responding: 5 p.m. Wednesday, October 22, 2003

What is WWW+10? A group of RHIT faculty and staff are planning a conference to take place here at Rose-Hulman in the Fall of 2004.
Conference title: The World Wide Web at Ten: The Dream and the Reality
Who is involved? Robert Cailliau, co-author of "How the Web was Born: The Story of the World Wide Web", will be the honorary conference chair and a keynote speaker.

Through Robert's help we hope to attract other world wide web pioneers as keynote speakers.

How will the conference work? The conference will be interdisciplinary, including discussions of societal, educational and technical implications of the world wide web.
Conference theme: The theme is summarized in the conference title: contrast the original aims and expectations for the world wide web with the current results.
How you can participate: We are looking for a few interested students to join our planning committee. If you are interested, please complete the following form by 5 p.m. Wednesday, October 22, 2003.
