During Class we practiced our Mindmaze game on another group in the class where we received feedback and comments. Later in the day I sent out an email to my group so that we could find a date and time so that we could meet with our 2nd school in Terre Haute. At the end of the day I also received an email from the group and wrote down the new information into our daily log. This should be a great learning experience. During class we were able to practice our group forming game. This was very valuable. We were able to learn where we needed to improve. I was successful in getting the camera to work, although I could not get the trackRaw () function to work. Two of our team members were unable to attend class due to interviews, which detracted a little from the team building exercise. The team building exercise went well. We received good feedback from the other group. It was interesting to see the distance at which the camera could pick up the orange. That means that if we were able to tell the camera the color of Botguy, the camera could see him anywhere on the table. I think it actually went rather well. We had alot of fun trying to figure out a new painting program as well as laughing at the thousand and one mistakes that we made along the way. We did noticed that the keyboard operator was not used an awful lot, which could lead to some problems, but I still had a good time trying to work with our "team demonstration" to get the job down. We did see a nifty idea from the other group that presented their idea to us. I did not know that it was the same exercise that an actual MEs use in their "design theory/idea" class. Building the tallest and most stable object using only 3 pieces of paper and some "household items". Rather interesting. The rest of the time was spend looking up botball information, making sure that my computer was ready for any sort of IC demonstration, and reading the powerpoints online to familiarize myself with what is going to happen on Friday. Unfortunately, do to me working at the bookstore on Saturdays, I will be unable to attend the event on Saturday, but I am hoping that I will give a good enough presentation on Friday to cover anything that I missed." "Generating a sales pitch wasn't as helpful as I had imagined it would be. Most of the teams were seasoned botball veterans, and all of the teams I'm working with had competed at least once before. One of the teams had even worked with someone from Rose before, so they basically knew what I was going to be helping them with from the get go. There was very little convincing that I had to do, and I hadn't expected that. I found myself very prepared to help on Friday / Saturday, so apparently the preparation paid off."
